This is the moment. When you arrive and have the same feeling you had as a child when your mother and father took you on a trip to the mountains. Externally much the same – traditional and so typically Bavarian as if it has emerged from a sentimental picture postcard of an Alpine scene. But inside contemporary with the associated casualness and a comfort factor that invites to you stay. We drink wine and celebrate at the long table in our gallery while drinks are shaken and taken at the bar. Everything is familiar and quite natural. With the easy-going atmosphere of the Alpine world.

How would we describe our cuisine? In one word: “genuine”. We serve the good old classics but with a touch of the unexpected and the guarantee you’ll be delighted. There’s nothing we like better than our own cooking. We want to preserve and disseminate the knowledge our grandparents had about herbs and local produce. Everyone will discover something new in our cuisine in which we discover ourselves anew – our love of high quality local produce and of the landscape in which we live.

Because of our aspiration to integrate the flavours of the Alps in our culinary range, our cuisine is characterised by its local origin, its seasonal nature and tradition to which is added a modern touch. Our high quality standards with regard to the produce we cook starts with our use of seasonal herbs from our own herb garden and provided by local suppliers. We love to try out new things and be creative. In short, we simply love cooking. There is nothing we enjoy more than to refashion the specialities of Alpine cuisine and to give them our own personal feel.
