Cuisine

We serve the good old classics but creatively revamped with lots of love: taste sensations that are guaranteed to delight you. We use high quality produce in the awareness that we are passing on the knowledge that our grandparents had about herbs and local foodstuffs. Stay and relax a while in our idyllic, rambling Alpine garden: here you’ll be exposed to the scents of herbs and plants and you can let your soul unwind, dip your feet in our “little Lake Schliersee” and enjoy quality cooking at the same time. Here you can dine, relax, celebrate to your heart’s content and dance. Come and be our guest!

OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY

The Alpine region

Our location in the Bavarian Prealps has a significant influence on our cuisine, using as we do Alpine produce from Slovenia to France. Nature around our Alperie is a gigantic herb garden that we delight in daily. In addition, we know how to preserve the traditions of our locality but at the same time enjoy manipulating elements of traditional dishes for our culinary creations.

Kräuter Alpengarten Alperie am Schliersee

Wild herbs

Using the “green gold” of the Alps, our aim is to generate awareness of old knowledge about herbs and the many different taste sensations they produce. Whether in soups or spreads, as piquant spices or edible decoration – with qualified herb specialists in our team we know what the (mainly) green friends of the kitchen can do and the multifarious ways they can be used. Our herbs come directly from our own herb garden onto your plate.

Regional and seasonal

To a large extent, our dishes contain locally produced foods. We collaborate closely with local suppliers. When selecting suppliers, we make sure we can enter into a fair relationship with them, that transport routes are as short as possible and that we can serve seasonal produce.
